I purchased these great looking and well raved about pedal (MBUK Verdict 10/10 “Most wanted” in Flat Pedals Mini Grouptest October 2006) as a suitable replacement for my DMR V8’s which have had some serious abuse and were beginning to feel a little tired – mainly due to the bearings wearing out!

Lapierre Zesty 514 – Demo Ride
So with my Specialized Stumpy at my LBS Crosstrax having all its bushes replaced I took the opportunity to demo the much talked about Zesty! The rear shock set up was easy thanks to Lapierre’s gauge system on the rear arm and as I was heading for a ride in the Peak District I opted for a slightly more XC setting.
