Passportes du Soleil 2011

Les PassPortes du soleil held on the 24th, 25th and 26th June 2011.

With more than 3500 mountain bike riders getting ready for the start of the summer  in the Portes du Soleil . Les PassPortes du Soleil is thee event  for all mountain bikers and a and an excellent time to have a Mountain bike holiday in Chatel.

This year the event is host by Chatel,

With the event starting in Chatel it is the perfect place to start the 75 km of fabulous tracks linking France and Switzerland in the Portes du Soleil, over 6500m decent giving great downhills and views.

The passportes event,

Makes use of some of the finest trails the portes du Soleil. The steepest, longest climbs can be left to the lifts and the descents are exciting enought for the most experienced riders and mellow enough to allow a novice to have a go.

There are eight pitstops around the circut allowing to fill up on fluids and sample some of the specialities of the area.

There will be up to 100 big names in the sport in one place. Showing us their latest gear and a great place to have a demo or watch the pro riders in the foam pit! or just have a laugh!
