Who are we?

An insight into us

We don’t expect you to come to Châtel without knowing who we are, so here’s a small insight.

Mike

Enjoying his first two wheeled experience at 8 years old – riding schoolboy trials events winning the Scottish Rural and Urban trials in his early teens then progressing to extensive trail riding across the whole of Scotland.

Later in life, whilst living and working in West Yorkshire, mountain biking was discovered and a short time later following a move to France, meant the Alps became his playground!

Riding in the Portes Du Soleil and surrounding area ever since! Mike has a wealth of local trail knowledge and mountain experience, enjoys every aspect of mountain biking from trail riding to hardcore freeriding!
